Shows offline but I can't change to online. - Lexmark X4650 InkJet Printer

Check the status of the printer at Control Panel. Set it to online if it's shown as offline. If this doesn't fix the problem, check whether installing the vista driver available at your printer manufacturer's website helps.

Step 1:
a. Click Start, go to Control Panel and select Hardware and Sound.
b. Click Printer.
c. If the Printer is offline, it shows "Offline" status. If the Printer is online it shows "Ready".
d. If the Printer is offline, set it to online.
e. Right-click on the printer and select "Use Printer Online".
f. The display should change to ready when the printer is set to online.

Step 2:
If still you are facing issues, then update the printer driver. This should fix the problem.

Often times the printer will show being offline if the computer wasn't turned on before the printer. Also, if you have more than one printer be sure the printer you are trying to use is selected in the printer setup page.

there is a box you can tick that says show my contacts tham im off line
open skype go to tools options scroll to audio settings or video settings from the drop down list you should see this option box

Actually your status on Facebook is as "Offline" that's why it is showing you offline,
To become online you have to make your status as "online"
For this sign in your Facebook account, when your home page will open, On the left side down on the page there will be written that "you are currently offline to chat with your friends "Go online". For turning on the offline mode, firstly you have to firstly click Start. You have to take the Control panel.

In that, you would select the option named 'Printers and Faxes' icon. When you click that it would open a window.

That window would show the list of printers which are being connected to the system.

Then, double-click the printer in which you have to change the mode. A pop-up window would then appear.

You would go to the printer in the menu bar of that pop-up window. Lastly uncheck the 'use Printer Offline'.

After performing that the printer would go into the online mode.

Please make sure that printer is turn on, before doing ensure you do power cycle of printer.

Add printer on Standard TCP/IP port.

In Control Panel - Printers, Right-click the Dell 1710N and remove check for Offline.
