click on start>go to control panel>click on user account>click on create a new account and choose as a admin at account type option> if you want to put any password you can put the pass word> restart the computer and try to log on with the new account

click on start>go to control panel>click on add and remove user accoun under user account and family safety> choose user account>manage another account>if you are getting UAC prompt click on continue>click on create another account > choose account type as admin,if you want to put any pass word you can put the pass word>click on confirm and restart the computer while system will reboot try to log on with the new account.

By hacked I'm assuming you cannot enter your account and password was compromised - No you cannot find out who without a court order :D Sine your messenger is tied to your yahoo e-mail account, you will have to go here

Check "my account has been compromised"
and click next

provide the security information requested - like your birth date or the security questions you entered when you registered your yahoo account - you DO remember this info don't you ? This is the ONLY way you will retrieve or RESET your password - there is absolutely no other way YAHOO will provide you with info if you do not provide them with your birth date at least or answer the 2 security questions you programmed..... If you DO have this information your password will be reset and you will bea ble to log in using the temp pass they provide you, from there you can change it - this same e-mail pass will work for your messenger accoun as both are tied together.

To reassure you, I have personally experienced this problem as well - yahoo mail + messenger share same pass - once you recover pass for yahoo mail you recover messenger - Once you reset pass, make sure you use a different password, do not use any common words, make it something followed by digits !

If you can't remember neither pass or security question, you can't log in. There is no other way. But if it will make you feel any better - if you haven't logged in for months then all of your e-mails are most likely deleted. So, create another account and use that one. Sorry.
