Restore first the factory settings of your phone first and then ask for GPRS config settings from the network operator, check if it will work. If it doesnt work go to connectivity and delete all existing Access point.. then you retry.

How to open the GPRS and MMS of nokia 5300 classic

related to this problem
in some sim card its preactivated gprs sevice available
you just hv to choose the correct access point.

for example : if you are using 'Idea Cellular' then the correct access point for gprs is 'IDEA INTERNET or IDEA FRESH ' you can check these settings by going WEB/SETTINGS.
IF ITS NOT PREACTIVATED THEN
just call your sim card service provider (customer care )
and ask them to activate gprs and mms service on your number

after getting activation

then on your mobile phone to to menu/web
now your can access any site on your mobile

and about mms it easy to use its just like using sms

Can i chnge from edge to gprs

The EDGE and GPRS are data transfer methods used by network operators.EDGE is 3 times faster than GPRS.Usually network operators use one of the two.Actually you are not deciding the method.Either you can enable or disable it.
