How to threat the string on necchi 4575 sewing machine? can you send me a video please

I've found that my machine doesn't like Coats & Clark thread; I have to feed it Guterman

You will notice that there is a dial to make button holes. Yes, use the template and turn the nob to form the four sides of the button hole. Try it on a scrape of fabric until you figure it out. That is what I do. Good luck!

Sounds to me like you may have put the needle in backwards. The flat side should be to the back.

Make sure the presser foot is up when threading any sewing machine.
