What can i do i have my computer a HP computer that there is no sound card?

If you have no sound card driver, you obviously can't set up your sound. You will have to go to the HP site and enter your computer model in order to get to the page where you will find your sound drivers. Remember, HP bought Compaq, so you go there for your stuff. www.hp.com

what you need is drivers for your sound card,, if you have a hp look for hp drivers, if dell look for dell drivers,,

when you find the right web site you can downlod the right drivers for your sound card.

Remove the sound card driver from your computer and then install it back after the computer restart. Check your volume settings and the volume slider on your laptop.

If the the sound card is a sound card not unboard sound yes before putting the sound card in other the computer write down all the info. on the card you are looking for the make and modal (you can get some of this info. from the device manager of the computer you are removing the card from) try to get the the driver from the comampy that made thr card, if not found, http://www.driverguide.com/ will have it. its an hp with a intel cpu, locate your device list in your computer, as long as it wasn't deleted it should show your sound card and whether or not it is working

that sound card is unlikely to work with xp..those are 2000 machines, and the chipsets aren't that flexible. you may need to change sound card too, to one compatible with xp(like soundblaster).
