I cannot start my NAVIGON GPS 3310 - Europe 40 pays: I get a message that tells." NAVIGON software cannot be started. Please reset you device. Contact the Navigon Service center if the problem persists: The problem does persists in spite of the numerous reset I did. I also tried to restore the factory settings, it does not change anything. When I connect the GPS to establish a conection between the GPS and the computer, for example save the content of the GPS in the computer I get a message which tells me No device was detected (CG2001) No Navigon device was detected. They suggest to unplug and plug again the GPS to the computer, I did so and get the little music which tells me that I am plugging/unplugging a USB device, and I see NAVIGON in Windows Explorer. But still I get the same message that No device was detected: Ths GPS was delivered with all data in the internal memory and none on the SD card (It was working with no SD card). It seems to me that all data in the GPS disapeared, and unfortunately I did not save the data when I I had a chance. Do you think you can help me? I was thinking that perhaps I could install a SD card will all data, meaning Navigon program and maps, and may be it would work. What do you think about that? The problem would be to find this data, The Navigon progam in particular. As for the maps they can be bought, but on a DVD as far as I know, and what if the computer does not recognise the GPS? So, as you see I am puzzeld and seriously consideing buyin a Garmin instead,. I,ve heard that they are more reliable.
