We have an wheelchair but we don't know how to use it.How do we operate the controllers. We replaced the batteries. Could you help us?

Have you had the batteries load tested? How do you know the batteries are good?

Check the freewheel levers in the front of the chair to make sure both are in the drive mode. If they are in drive mode and you are still getting the error then there was damage done to the brake on the motor that the cord got wrapped around and it will have to be replaced Sorry Hope this helps

Sure they will but according to MK batteries good AGM atteries will perform just as well and for less cost. And thats probably why they told you that. They don't want to incur the higher cost because Medicare will only pay so much for the replacement batteries. Hope this helps you

Joe See my tips on charging batteries No you don't have to leave the chair on when charging. Charge overnite after using it during the day. Always have the charger off when plugging it into the chair and unplugging from the chair. The charger you have doesn't have an on/off switch so get a power strip with the on/off switch, plug that into the wall and plug your charger into the strip use the switch on the strip to turn the charger on and off this will save you having to plug and unplug the charger rom the wall. Always store or put the chair up fully charged. If you don't use the cair daily charge at least once a week. It takes 9-10 chargings to get the batteries operating at 100% so use the chair and charge overnight while you sleep Never leave the charger on the chair more than 12 hours Hope this helps you

Replace the batteries and charge before use then charge nightly for 20 days Use the chair daily so you can get a good charge nightly to get the batteries operating at 100% After the 20 days If you don't use the chair daily always store fully charged and then charge once a week overnight. Should work fine once you get the new batteries in You will need to get 2 U1 batteries for your chair do not get Wally World or automotive batteries You must replace with sealed deep cycle batteries made for power chairs Hope this helps

my chair jazzy 1113 ats won't move.all the lights are flashing and the batteries are fully charged why are they flasng

Hi. You say that the lights blink? Do all the lights blink, or just some. If its just a few then it is probably a fault code. Count how many lights are flashing and let us know and I will be able to look it up. Do you have either of the motors in free-wheel. The brake units have small micro-switchs on them, and the controller will not operate in either switch is on. Also check all battery and motor connectors. Good luck. Neil.

This usually occurs when either the battery charger is still plugged in when the button is pressed to turn on the wheelchair, or if the joystick has got 'Locked'. On the majority of electric wheelchairs you can lock the joystick control so that the wheelchair cannot be moved, for instance, it it was left outside a shop. You would need a manual for the controller from the manufacturer to tell you how to unlock it. You should be able to find this online somewhere. When you say "control box" I assume that you mean the joystick. If there is no power to the joystick be sure that the batteries are fully charged and be sure that they do not need to be replaced, also be sure that the cables were not put on wrong. If all that checks out then be sure that all the cables are tight.

If all these do not solve the problem then you need to have the joystick tested.
