Bosch WFMC3301UC washer. The water will not flow into the machine. After a few minutes we see an error msg E02. I had replaced the hot water inlet valve two months ago because it developed a leak. No leaks since then and no kinked hoses. inline filter screens have been cleaned.

Bosch washer giving E02 error, drum has excessive water in it, takes 3 manual drain cycles to empty drum

E02 error code is either water supply side not enough (kinked hose) or more likely in your case clogged drain [hose] or particle filter.

Hy, I have a washmasine bosch WAE28267SN that sow me an error E02 that's the error. Somebody can help me with some tips Thanks

The E02 error means that the washer is slow to fill. This can be caused by a problem with the incoming water hoses, the water valves or the washer draining as it fills.

The first thing to check is the incoming water if you have very little water in the washer. Make sure that the shut-off valves have been opened fully. If they were fully open, close them. If they were closed, check if that solves your E02 problem. Next remove the water hoses. A damaged anti-flood hose can reduce the water flow to a trickle. Clean the filters at both the shut-off valves and the intake valve on the washer. Replace the hoses at the shut-off valves. With a bucket below the hoses, turn on the shut-off valves and check that you are getting good flow. Now, attach the hoses to the washer. Check if the washer fills properly.

Check that the drain hose is positioned so that the outlet is above the water line of the washer. If your E02 issue continues and no water gets into the machine, then the inlet valve could be stuck in the closed position. If the washer is filling and the E02 error persists, then the water flow sensor may be a problem. This sensor has air tubes that can become clogged. Make sure that they have no dirt. There are other parts in this sensor that could be damaged.

Unfortunately, I don't have a source for parts for this washer. Some Bosch water inlet valves are available here: http://www.appliancepartspros.com/bosch-washer-valve.html . If your washer is under warranty, contact Bosch.

I hope this helps.

THE SCREEN SHOWS IE

Hello there and thank you for choosing fixya
An IE error code will appear if the washer has not filled with water in approximately 8 minutes. If an IE error code appears on the washer, check to make sure both hot and cold-water taps are open completely. After both valves have been opened, unplug the washer for 10 seconds and retry the wash cycle.
There are filters on the inlet hose connections of the washing machine. They are intended to filter away mineral deposits from hard water and other debris from getting into the unit. If clogged, water will not flow through these filters into the washer. Turn off both the hot and cold water taps, disconnect the inlet hoses from the back of the washing machine, and clean the inlet filters gently but thoroughly.
If the inlet hoses are not attached to the machine correctly, it will prevent proper water flow to the washer. Turn off the hot and cold water supply then disconnect and reconnect the inlet hoses. Ensure that they are threaded properly. After the hoses have been reconnected, open the water taps completely, check for leaks, and unplug the washer for 10 seconds and retry the wash cycle.
And finely if all of this does not work then the inlet valve on the machine needs to be replaced ok?
Hope this all helps

Bosch Nexxt 500 WFMC3301UC Front Load Washer is leaking water somewhere inside the unit. It is only doing this from the hot water source. All connections are tight and there are no external leaks. The cold...

It sounds like it may be the hot water valve, the valve itself may be leaking or the water pressure from your hot supply may not be high enough to 'lock' the valve fully when not energized. The second problem could be rectified by using a 'y' piece splitter on you cold supply and running both valve on cold water,
Link to parts diagram valve is position 407.

I have a Bosch washer wfc5301uc it is showing error code E02

Could be a faulty inlet valve, or not enough pressure to operate valve,
Remove hose onto valve, and check the water is getting to it o/k,turning off the water to the valve before you undo the hose.
Hope this helps.

After about 5 minutes into a wash cycle, the error "E02" is displayed and the wash cycle stops. What does this error message mean? It isn't in the book that came with the washer.

I just had this problem. My water supply (hot ) had been turned off since my husband used it to fill our hot tub. Other causes were-supply hose kinked, strainers in supply hose clogged, water pressure too low. Hope this solves your problem!

Bosh error code E02

Hi. I had the same problem with my Bosch washing machine and called Bosch...was told the same thing...$99.00 for service call. I managed to fix my problem by doing the following:
  • Removed hot & cold water supply hoses.
  • Took filter screens out of both hoses.
  • Removed filter from cold inlet on back of washing machine. I noticed some oily buildup on both of the cold screens so opted to not put any of them back in.
  • Then I put hot & cold water supplies back on the wall hookup, but crossed the lines where they came into the back of the machine intentionally so that the hot water line fed into the cold side of the washing machine and vice versa.
  • Then I ran a couple loads on "cold" which was actually hot water coming in to the machine.
The reason I did this was that I figured there must be some more waxy buildup inside the machine in the cold lines and hoped the hot water would melt it like when you rinse a greasy pan under hot water. IT WORKED!!! I hope this helps you.

E02 message

Error relates to water taking to long to get into machine. Check tap is open fully, water pressure is ok, hoses are not kinked. also check the small filters either end of the inlet hoses (inlet valves as well) as quite often they can clog up especialy on a new install. Regards
