What filter do you have?

Some of the newer filter valves, do not have a replaceable spider gasket, it is part of the rotor base plate, like on a Hayward SP714 T1 Style valve.

This type is on the rotor assembly vs. the style that has the gasket as part of the valve body, and that is removable and replaceable, see pic:

this is a very simple valve. if you cannot turn it, i suggest removal from the filter body. inspect the inside of the valve. there may be a toy or something caught in the cavities or if not winterized properly, might have cracked

There is a flat edge next to one of the bolt holes on the key ass\'y that matches a flat edge on the valve housing.

It is still the same valve only the part number adds a zero...it is SP0714T. We sell it for $97.99 with free shipping to the continental US. We currently have several in stock.

Any idea on how to install new one yet? I put 220lbs of my own pressure to set spring to get key back into handle with zero luck

Instructions are on side of filter tank.Looks like a pro series top mount. Turn pump off.Press down valve handle and turn to backwash. Start pump. When water runs clear , rinse and return to filter. The pressure gauge is defective! Replace. Superchlorinate pool.

The valve should be about $100. We sell it for 90 something. You can rebuild them with gaskets and the spring. There should be a model number on yours, care to post it? Something like SP711, SP714, etc.
