stove is a whirlpool accubake .
we had a power surge in house recently which resulted in power company repairs outside.
the burners and burner lights on stove work.
oven doesn't and there are no signs of life on the stove control panel display.
would this be a control panel display proble or the oven control board ?
thanks for any help.
the oven is 10 years old so if the part is more than half of a new stove , i just didn't feel it was feasible to invest too much $$.

The electronic oven control has gone bad. The repair is a lot less expensive than the replacement of the whole stove. Part number is 903091-9051 at about 165.00 retail. You can fix rather than replace whole stove. Hope this helps.
whirlpool super capacity 465 accubake system gas stove with auto starter - oven worked fine the previous night the next day will not do any thing any help out there?
Some gas ranges may take 10 or so minutes to light.
Other than that you may have a defective glow bar ignitor.
If it glows and does not light the reistance in the ignitior has failed.
