Hook up to Ritron EQ

Hi. First I apologize for my ignorance but I have been given a Ritron equalizer (vintage it seems) - 20 channel in all - 10 on each side. I would need to know how to connect it to my Kenwood receiver or to my Yamaha vintage amplifier if I want to go that route - and assuming it's the amp we connect to.
The EQ has the following confusing array of connections at the back.
Under TAPE we have two connections (L and R) for MONI and OUT. Under LINE, there are two connections under OUT , and then, next to that a bank that states : 2 - IN - 1, with two connections under the 2 and two connection under the 1 (again L and R). It's very confusing. Could you please help keeping in mind that I know nothing about connecting vintage equipment. Many thanks

How to hook up a ADC equalizer to a Denon receiver.

Being that most AVRs designed today no longer provide a Pre-Out and Main Amp In that work in conjunction, there's no easy way to loop an external EQ through the receiver for playback with all sources. Also, given the fact that most receivers designed today either include some type of room correction software (Audyssey) or a Manual EQ for internal equalization, there is less of a need to integrate an external EQ with your receiver.

I have the Nitro BMWX 483 4 channel amp, BMWX 484 2channel amp , and I have the Nitro BMWX 424 4 band EQ !! Now what I'm trying to do is hook up both amps together to the EQ ! So far, I hav the BMWX...

From what I have read about this EQ it is just for subsonic frequencies. You really don't want to run your components through this EQ. Leave the components running off of the 4 channel amp and your sub box on the two channel with the EQ in series between your head unit and the sub amp.

I AM trying Hook up Sony rec suroundsond to eq

You can't. External analog stereo processing DOES NOT EQUAL multichannel. Two channels in, two channels out.

I recently bought the yamaha rx-v567 and I own a yamaha EQ-70. How do I configure and hook up the EQ to the receiver?

The EQ is connected via one of the Tape loops on the amp (rec out from EQ to play in on amp,rec out on amp to play in on EQ). You then switch "Tape Monitor" on to hear the sound with the EQ settings applied. You can also connect it across Pre out and Main in should you have such sockets. I'm pretty sure it will only affect the main two front channels and not the surround channels.

Manual

amp output goes to eq input
eq output goes to amp input
WHEN USING TAPE MONITOR on amp you run record from amp to input on eq and
output from eq to play on amp

Eq on channel a doesn't work on 2 units

It could be an internal ground connection on the EQ that's broken ( maybe inside the connector) ..I repaired numerous peavey products and broken grounds are common.
