I need a disc to install my lexmark x1180 printer to a new computer.

There is a possibility of conflict of software since you mention that you installed various drivers for your model. Try to unintall the driver first. Are you attempting to reinstall the printer onto the same computer as before with the sdame operationg system? I have included the Lexmart download webpage for your printer product for Xp . 
I woudl first uninstal the printer(in software through the copntrol panel add printer page) Next after downloading the new  software/driver that I pointed you too, install the printer. 
PS if you cannot access the printer through the control panel start the computer minized(blue screen)
