On my GPS, I scrolled down to and pressed Navi Path, then turned on "Auto run GPS when starting", then set the Navigation Path to Resident\.........\iGO8. It then worked ok.

I just can't understand what do you mean by downloading new driver from the net.
You should try resetting your device first.
If you want to reload the firmware this can only be done by your product support people.

Restore the factory default settings
While restore your device to factory default settings will delete all the data you saved before, and then your cellphone will be quicker than before. So you should transfer the useful information to the memory card or computer, then when you finish resetting Samsung C3050, you can transfer them back. So back up first.
-Press the Navigation key to access the main menu.
-Scroll to Settings and press the Navigation key.
-Scroll to Reset settings and press the Navigation key.
-The first time you use the phone lock code, key in a code of your own choice.
-Tick the required settings by pressing the Navigation key.
-When the box next to a menu item is ticked (V), the setting will be reset.
-Press Reset.
-Press the Navigation key to confirm.
-Key in the phone lock code and press the Navigation key.
Note: if it is the first time you use the phone lock code, key in the phone lock code again and press the Navigation key.
-The selected settings are reset.
-Press Disconnect to return to stand-by mode.
Please take note: if reset is not the best solution, I would strongly suggest to contact your manufacturer.
