This model was not made to have the batteries replaced. It is possible but the shaver body will probably come out very scarred in the process. Instead, the following replacement is suggested
This happened with my Canon Powershot A470. I sent it back to he manufacturer and they said I was using the wrong batteries. Even though the camera is supplied with two alkaline batteries, they recommend using AA NimH rechargable batteries.
I have the same problem with mine!! Had it about 14 months now too!!
Glad I'm not the only one... I don't know what to do! I have gotten
brand new rechargeable batteries and instead of getting 250 shots, I
only get like 20!
