I have had success with this... Download the program
http://www.asoftech.com/apr/

You have to use a card reader either on your computer or an external USB card reader. Put the card in the card reader, open the recovery program, then select the drive where files are deleted, then press "Start" and wait for it to do it's magic.

Those deleted pictures can be got back as long as you take the right steps.

First things first - stop taking more photos (or videos) using the same camera (memory card) in case you may quite possibly ruin the chances of recovery.

Then connect the Nikon Coolpix camera (memory card) to your computer which has installed a data recovery software. Check this site Digital Camera Recovery for several tested and nice programs working under Both Windows and Mac OS X.

Hope it helps!

Yes, it is absolutely possible for you to recover all your accidentally deleted pictures as long as they are not overwritten by any new file the same camera.
Now, what you can do is really simple:
Step1. Stop using this camera in case that any new file would rewrite your original photos.
Step2. Insert this camera to your computer and prepare to restore your photos.
Step3. Download a deleted photo recovery freeware to your computer and start to retrieve all your deleted photos back:
http://blog4mark.blogspot.com/2012/12/photo-recovery-after-delete.html
In fact, this freeware has ever successfully saved all the inaccessible data of my friend off from his camera. So, I believe it can also work successfully on your camera memory card, too.
Simply read more information of this freeware here:
http://www.freeware-fix.blogspot.com/2013/02/photo-recovery.html
Step4. Save and back up all the restored photos on a different memory card or drive in case of data recovery failure.
Note: Next time, you'd better back up all your important photos on different memory cards or drives in case of the similar data recovery problems.

Deleting won't make the pictures on a digital camera erase permanently. Those deleted pictures are still stored on the memory card of your camera, they're just invisible or inaccessible. You can recover them with photo recovery software. But once the deleted pictures were overwritten by new data, they are gone for good.
I used a program called Tenorshare Photo Recovery for Mac and it worked.Anyway, you can download it and scan your memory card for free to preview whether your files can be recovered.By the way,it will show you the file name, type, date and size of your files and thumbnails for your pictures that it found on your card.Give it a shot!

First of all, you should stop saving any new files to your Nikon Coolpix S50 camera (or SD card) or taking new pictures.

Then find some photo recovery software from the following websites, which are able to recover deleted or formatted photos and movies from cell phone, digital camera, memory card and SD card etc.

Digital Photo Recovery for Windows

Digital Photo Recovery for Mac OS X

Here are the steps:

Step 1: Download and install the Digital Photo Recovery Software.

Step 2: Connect your Nikon Coolpix S50 camera (or SD card, memory card etc) to your PC or Mac.

Step 3: Scan the source drive where your lost pictures located.

Step 4: Recover the lost pictures and save them to another drive instead of the source drive.

Best regards!

I accidentely deleted some pics , is there anyway to get them back /

First take the memory card out of the camera. Pictures that have been deleted are probably still there, but will be overwritten if you take any more pictures on top of them.

Your camera is not able to undelete pictures, but there are programs for doing this on a computer. You can put the memory card into a card reader attached to a computer, and use an undelete program to recover the deleted files. Undelete programs are available for free download from the internet, try the one at THIS LINK

If the pictures are very important to you, you might want to seek help from an experienced person.

Is it possible to recover my pictures?

You can often successfully recover deleted files from a PC, phone or camera memory card or USB Memory stick, it just depends on what's happened since the files were deleted.
When you delete files the data itself isn't deleted, just the index entry that says where the data for those files is located. The space containing the deleted files is also now marked as free space so it is available to the system for any new files to be written there instead.

If and when that happens, then it becomes too late to recover your deleted files so it is very, very important to not save any new files or data to the device concerned.
If the deleted files are on a memory card or USB memory stick, just don't save any new files to it.

One of the easiest ways to see if you can recover deleted photos is to try some picture recovery software. Recommended asoftech photo recovery as it saved my life many times.
