I have a Brother cs-6000i sewing machine. The machine threads fine for few minutes and then the bobbin pops out. The spring supposed to stop the bobbin from rotating is little bent. I could not find this part. Any Help is appreciated.

My brother cs-6000i computer sewing machine shows a E6. I cleaned around the bobbin and checked the needle. I replaced the bent needle and it still does the same thing "E6". What will fix this?

Follow the instructions below if you receive the error message "E6"
1. Check if the machine rattles and stops as soon as the sewing starts
- Upper thread could be tangled or threaded incorrectly
- Check that the thread take-up lever is threaded

- Raise the presser foot to raise the needle to its highest position and re-thread the machine
2. Remove the bobbin and bobbin case
- Clean any lint or loose threads

- Install the bobbin case so that the projection on it aligns with the spring and install the bobbin into the bobbin case

3. The needle could be bent
- Check that the needle does not hit the needle plate
- Replace the needle if necessary
- Make sure the flat side is facing the back
If the problem persists, your machine may require service.

How to troubleshoot without a manual

Yes, Brother has a free download, Go to this site:http://www.generalmanual.com/Home-Sewing-Embroidery-Machines/Brother-CS-6000i-Sewing-Machine.htm and you should have what you need. You also might have the bobbin pushed to the right, in the wind position. Is so, push bobbin to the left and all should be fine.

I keep getting error E6 on Brothers CS 6000i- I cleaned the thread several times and when I try to restart sewing it happens again. I've removed the bobbin and re-threaded and it keep jammin and beeping....

The motor locked up because the thread is tangled.
Solution:
Remove the tangled thread before continuing the operation.
Clean the bobbin case to remove the tangled thread.
After cleaning the bobbin case, insert the bobbin case properly.
If the needle is bent or broken, replace the needle.
Then, thread the upper thread properly, and continue the operation.

What kind of thread are you trying to use? Is it a decent fresh thread? If, it is old, throw it out and buy some fresh quality thread. Usually, cheap thread is the problem.

Brother CS-6000i - the bobbin thread is not coming through in order to make a stitch. I have cleaned the bobbing case, changed needles, re-threaded machine, changed thread, and even changed bobbins. It was...

Check list:

1 - Flat side of the needle is facing the back of the machine.

2 - Threaded machine with the presser foot up - always.

3 - Bobbin thread is feeding from the spool in the correct direction and through the proper guides.

Lower and raise the threaded needle, holding onto the end of the thread.

If this does not pull the bobbin thread up, the timing may need adjusting.

There is a graphic for doing this as sewusa.com or take it into the dealer for service.
