How to I program Hisense remote EN-22652A to control my Samsung DVD player, there aren't any buttons which light up and blink on this remote. All the buttons are rubber.

Here is the manual for your remote. You need to plug your DVD directly into the A/V ports using the proper cable. See page 4 and 5 for hookup diagrams. Then once your TV is on, push the TV input on the remote and select A/V option. If your DVD is on, you should see some sort of input. Your remote is not programmable. Direct TV, Dish, etc could be programmed to your TV, DVD, and etc. http://media.datatail.com/docs/manual/174203_en.pdf

Hisense TV model #40H5 won't respond to remote or buttons on TV.Ive tried changing Input, channel, adjusting volume & turning TV off.

Check the remote control for its infrared emission. Check it with fresh batteries. Check it by pressing all the keys. You can detect the presence of infra-red emission from the remote control, using a cell-phone camera. If you wish to get more details about how to check a remote control, please visit this site. One among the posts has details about it. In some cases, the remote control might need to clean.

MY HISENSE TV IS NOTT RESPONDING TO THE REMOTE CONTROL COMMANDS ALTHOUGH THE REMOTE IS BLINKING. MY REMOTE SERIES IS EN-31603 (IT CAME WITH THE LCD 32' HISENSE TV)

I have the same problem, NOTHING to do with batteries.BUT if you press the that blinking (red) button and hold it down and THEN press the option you want (channel +/-, volume +/- etc) the controls work. Im looking for an answer aswell to return it to its previous state where I dont have to do that!

Remote and manual buttons don't work

If the panel lock is set to ON, the panel buttons won't work. If the remote control or the infrared sensor inside the TV is faulty; the remote control won't respond. Contact any service technician. Check the remote control for its infra-red emission. Check it with fresh batteries. Check by pressing all the buttons on it; and see whether all of it generates infrared signal while pressing. If it is found OK, check and replace the infrared sensor inside the TV. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. It has details about how to check a remote control; by one among the post. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ If the remote control is found OK; check and replace the infra-red sensor inside the TV. Contact any service technician

I have RCA VR 646HF. My remote fell between sofa

I could not find the Users Manual for the VR636HF, but I did stumble across the Users Manual for the VR634HF. Find it here:

http://support.radioshack.com/support_video/doc59/59851.pdf

Page 49 talks about the Pro-Tec Plus Locking "Feature" whereby holding the VCR button for six seconds will lock and unlock the "SAFE" mode.

Page 38 & 39 are instructions and programming codes for the VR634HF remote. Maybe they will work with your VR636HF to get the TV control working again.

Hisense LCD Tl2020

I, also, have the Hisense LCD 1504 and cannot turn it on with the original remote. I have to use the ON button on the side every morning. You have to hold this button in for a while then wait a while and presto, the blue button shows on the front and the picture comes on. If it fails to work the first try, just try try again. It does work for me this way. We had this same experience with the TV in our room at a Hotel where we were on vacation and the TV worked fine when we turned it on using the side ON button. It just takes a while for the picture to appear. Hope this clue will help someone.

Hisense tv on "lock"

If you have the original remote with the "CCL" Child Lock it unlocks it. If you are like me and lost the remote I unlocked mine by 1. Turn on TV 2. Hold down the menu button and unplu it. 3. Continue to hold the menu button down while you plug it back in. Mine unlocked, good luck.

SEARCHING FOR YOUR CODE
If your device does not respond to the remote control after trying all codes
listed for your brand, or if your brand is not listed at all, try searching for
your code.
NOTE: Before performing a code search for a DVD player or a VCR, turn on the device and
insert the required media.
For example, to search for a code for your TV:
1. On the remote control, press TV once.
2. Press and hold SET until the LED (red light) blinks twice,
then release SET.
3. Enter 9 - 9 - 1.The LED will blink twice.
4. Aim the remote control at the TV and slowly alternate
between pressing POWER and TV. Stop when the TV turns off
(after pressing POWER). If the device does not have a Power
key, you can substitute another function, such as digits 0 ~ 9 ,
CH, or PLAY).
NOTE: In the search mode, the remote control will send IR codes from
its library to the selected device, starting with the most popular code
first.
5. To lock in the code, press and release SET.The LED will
blink twice.
6. To search for the codes of your other devices, repeat steps
1 through 5, but substitute the appropriate device key for
the device you are searching for.
here is the maual for your remote:
