You can add an iPod to a stock radio in your car, even if
the plant does not have an auxiliary input or iPod input using a specific
number of iPod car accessories. One such accessory is a cassette adapter that
plugs into your iPod as a headset, but ends on a cassette tape to your stock
cassette radio. However, not all cars have cassette players, thus more
accessible to the FM transmitter.
1. Connect your iPod to an FM transmitter, if you connect
headphones to the iPod.
2. Connect the FM transmitter to your cigarette lighter to
power and then to the transmitter.
3. Press up and down on the transmitter to the FM
transmitter to change, you will pass the signal to your radio. Choose a station
that is not a radio station on it so you do not interrupt the signal.
4. Set your stock radio to the channel you selected on your
transmitter and then play the songs on your iPod. You will see the songs on
your iPod through the radio station you selected.
