You candownload the Brother printer drivers from their support WEB site. Please clickon this link and select your model printer to download : - http://www.brother.com.au/ProductsSolutions.aspx

go to the company web site and enter the model, and then search for software. download it from there.

search yours at Drivers, utilities and software updates for your Brother Product.

Select your operating system (Windows XP, etc.), your language and download and install the driver (software to run your printer).

If necessary, disconnect the printer cable from your PC, restart your PC, reconnect the cable and install the driver.

go to microsoft and down load drivers typ your type of printer inand it will give u the drivers u need

Where Can I download installation software for Brother HL-2040 printer

Assuming the printer model is Brother HL-2040 then drivers for Windows 2000/XP/Server 2003 should be available from Brother's website here. That link was not working for me at the moment, if it is still down you can get the drivers from the alternative link of the opendrivers site here.
