My daughter's phone will only allow her to use the speaker phone as regular audio is not working. Any suggestions as to cause and remedy?
If you quickly enther ##debug (##33284). if the 4 doesn't appear then that means the phone regognized the code. press END then once you see you home screen press CLR and then the LEFT SOFT key which brings you into the debug mode. ONce your in there be very carful not to change any settings for it can easily screw up your phone so be cautious. to go through the pages press the LEFT or RIGHT SOFT keys. more prefferd by pressing the RIGHT one. press it a few times till you come to the page where the first line says "ServOPT: NoChg". The second line or the line right after that says "AudioOpt: Auto". Scroll down to it by pressing the down button on your keypad then once the little pointer on the left of the screen is at "AudioOPT:". you'll notice that right on top of the RIGHT SOFT key says change. Pess that till it goes from "Auto" to "Spkr". once your finished all that press Exit (LEFT SOFT KEY) and you will see it going out of the editing mood. Press CLR and the LEFT SOFT key on the keypad again to Exit the debug mode. Once you out to the main screen again press ##debug again to disactivate the Debug mode. Again if the 4 doesn't appear then that means the code registered and it disactivated. If you won't disactivate it it will enter into the mode again by switching your phone off and on again. which you don't want to happen. however if it does happen press the CLR and LEFT SOFT key then you out again. then disactivate it again by pressing ##debug.
If that doesn't solve your problem then i'm sorry but i can't help you. I am also not responsible if you Screw up your Phone.
This only works on the Razr phones so don't try it on other phones.

Have the same problem. I can barely hear using the regular earpiece, so I have to use the speaker phone. I've checked the volume settings and all is fine.
