Hi,

You can use the VGA input for connecting the PS3. for that you need D-sub to HDTV/Component cable. Connect the vga sid to the projector and the component RCA side to your PS3. Your PS3 have the component video out.

I have an lg 50pg20 and i cant hook up my ps3 using the hdmi cabl

Make sure the xbox display settings are not defulted to 480. Have you tried using the component hookup instead? Theres really not that big a difference in quality between the two if your settings are correct in the xbox display menu.

Cant go from a/v cables on my ps3 to hdmi cables! AAAAHHHHHHH

I had the same problem. If you go into the system settings portion of the menu and reset to default settings, then connect your HDMI cable while the system is re-loading, the PS3 should "see" the HDMI cable and ask you if you want to connect your audio and video using that. Hope this helps.
