The phone is showing Offline, hence I have inserted the sim card and switched the phone on, and choose general profile too. But it is showing Please Insert Sim Card.

After inserting the sim card it goes restart and ask for changing the
profile from offline,when i try to change the profile from offline to
others it hang and restarts showing the offline while sim inserted!tried
with different sim but no use.
This is not a lock.This problem occurs when Sim card IC is damage,Sim Case damage.But one thing you can try is Clean the sim Case and Sim card.Insert the sim and switch in the phone .If the problem still persist Contact mobile repairing shop.Good luck Thanks
I think you are using the handset without sim if it is so try inserting a SIM Card and while trying to switch on phone it will opt you whether u want to continue with offline mode or not.......simply click on no and your handset will be out of offline mode
But if you have inserted the sim card and its still showing offline try going to profiles and select General mode from there....if it is changed then its superb and if not then visit your nearest service center to get the software updated for your device
Please restart your phone. After restarting, it will ask do you want to continue in offline mode, select NO. This should solve your problem. Make sure you have SIM card inserted in your phone.

may mean that the Sim Card was not correctly placed or a fall or shock on the
phone has requested you to switch to offline mode and thus you are on that mode.
This can be cured by turning off the phone and removing and putting back the Sim
Card. You can also just change the settings to General if you had earlier
inadvetently chosed the offline mode. just
try this one!!! first you do is to click the power switch for 1 sec. then it appears: switch off,lock key pad,general,silent,etc.you will see a offline
word in the screen.... just choose general profile.... and this words will
appear "phone is currently in offline mode. change profile to access network?" just choose yes.. i hope it will help your

try these steps.. 1. get another sim card insert it to your phone (this will help you troubleshoot the problem between phone and sim). 2. check the phone profile settings, if it's on offline mode, then select general, or silent , it's up to you but don't choose offline mode. 3. clean the contact surface of the sim card by pencil eraser and a piece of clean soft cloth. 4. reinsert and try.
