Hi you could try this:: Click Settings. Click WiFi. Turn off Ask to Join Networks. Click Other in the Choose a Network list. (Ignore that it might have found your network.) Type in your network name. Tap where it says None in the Security box. Click your security type. For instance if you are using WEP, click WEP. (This is the key step). Click Other Network to return to the previous screen. Enter your password. Click Join and you should be good to go.
GL Hope this helps Please don't forget to leave feedback
Your PS3 is most likely trying to join a WiFi (Wireless) network. Sometimes WiFi networks have passwords to keep people out. The PS3 is asking for a WEP key because it is asking for the password so it can join that WiFi network and get online. Try to find your WEP key for your router. If it is not your router then you will be unable to join that network since it is secured.
1. Choose (Settings) then (WiFi) then (turn WiFi on)
2. Set iPod touch to ask if you want to join a new network:Choose (WiFi) and turn (Ask to Join Networks) ON or OFF.
Then you'll need to join a WiFi network (your D-Link for instance)
1. Choose (Settings) then (WiFi) then wait until your D-Link shows up in the list of networks.
2. Select your network and if you have a password for your router make sure you type it. (networks that require a password have a lock icon next to it) then tap (join)
Once you join a WiFi network manually, iPod touch will automatically connect to it whenever the network is in range. If more than one previously used network is in range, iPod touch joins the one last used.
When iPod touch is connected to a WiFi network, the WiFi icon in the status bar at the top of the screen shows the connection strength. The more bars you see, the stronger the connection.
One cannot connect with wi fi with no password near the Airports or other places of high security. You need permission from the Owner of wi fi of that area. After getting permission to access the wi fi, you will be given a pass word. Hope this will clear your doubt. Thanks...
check you password in a word pad before typing it in to see if you have caps lock on /type WEP password in word pad then copy and paste in to field and see if you can log on
