I have a Bosch Nexxt 500 Series washer, and the E - 02 code always flashes and stops the washer. This generally occurs 2-4 times per load. We don't, however, have any water pressure problems. So I am at a loss as to what is causing this error code. I removed the hot water hose today and looked at the piece on the washer to which it connected. Inside was what looked like a red plastic filter. I could not remove the filter in order to clean it. I am not sure if I should be removing it. But I could see sediment bulding up in the filter causing the water pressure to drop, leading to the E02 code. So I wanted to remove it and clean it. Anyone have any idea if this filter can be removed? Or if there is another issue causing the code? I would truly appreciate any help you can provide. Thank you.

SOURCE: error code 02 on a newly installed Bosch Nexxt Washing machine

This is a trouble code for a fill that is taking to long. Make sure that both the hot and cold water valves are turned on. Hope this helps.

I am not a repair professional. I am just a 78 year old
man who has been making his own repairs for about
50 years. Therefore the washer or dryer ID doesn't
mean much to me. I came to fixya looking for a
schematic for an really old AM/FM radio and
discovered that more than 4,700 people were asking
for help with a washer repair. I recently had a washer
repair of my own and found an excellent video which
showed me how to take my machine apart. This
video made it possible for me to do my own repair. I
was so impressed with the video that when I saw all
these people needing help, I wanted to tell them
about it. If you have a top loader (washer) of the
direct drive type, this video might be a Godsend for
you. If you look at the back of your washer and the
panel is solid (no small inspection plate to remove)
chances are you have a direct drive and this video
is just what you need. You can see this video at
www.acmehowto.com You will probably need
more help in determining what the problem is and
how to fix it. If your repair problem is a washer or
dryer I suggest you go to www.applianceaid.com
where they have very good trouble shooting and
repair information on most washers and dryers.
I think you'll find what you need there. Don't worry
about the timer, they hardly ever go bad. Good
luck with it. If I have helped you, please rate my
advice on fixya.

Bosch 500 washer won't finish rinse cycle. Flashing error code13

Timed out on drain cycle, basically you either have an outlet blockage or something is trapped in the pump, you can check the pump by opening the bottom right flap on the front panel, manually emptying the w/m and checking the pump filter for coins etc. Also, check the outlet isn't blocked.
Good Luck.

Bosch 100 series will not drain

You need to check and clean the pump filter if you have not already done so.
This is located at the bottom front right of washer.
Unscrew anti-clockwise to remove and clean.

Bosch Washer flashing E:

John-I have the same problem. I called service, they told me to unplug it (or turn off the breaker) for 30 mins, then turn back on. That should reset it. However, for me, it didn't do a thing. He said if that didn't work it's time for a service call.

1 1/2 PER LOAD

This is joyce
It is according to what cycle you have it set on and what kind of detergent you are using. if you use something other than HE detergent you may have a very long cycle, its trying to get all the suds out of your clothes, and yes the cycles do range that high.
