Cannot upload mp3 files from Songbird.I drag and drop from selection to GoGear Vibe and the software seems to be working but the device has not taken anything.Please help.I have Mac 10.6.8 with so called compatible software.All software syncs with iTunes just fine.

In songbird bring up your video(s) you want to add. Select then drag and drop to the Vibe list. Songbird will place it in the correct format and place it in the correct spot on your Vibe. do not use suggested programs they are junk windows Media player does not support proper formatting. and soft29.com you will have a bunch of adware and and other bloat ware included. Stay with songbird for proper format and transfer.

There are several methods for transferring music onto your Philips GoGear Vibe, including Drag and Drop, using "Sync" in Windows Media Player, using Rhapsody, or using Philips Songbird.

1. Connect your player to your PC. It will load automatically as shown in step 2.

2. Select Open device to view files.



(If the folder of your player does not appear, double click My Computer at the desktop and you will find an icon for your player. Double click that icon)


3. Select the music or picture files you want to transfer in your local directory.
(You can press and hold the Ctrl button on the keyboard to select more than one file)

4. Drag the selected files to the particular folder of your player (E.g. Music file on your player) by holding the left button of the mouse and releasing it.

Try the repair function of the Songbird software and restore VIBE to the factory settings. Before you proceed, bach up your files stored on VIBE if possible because the following procedure erases all files you have on the player:
1: Launch the Philips Songbird on the PC
2: In the Philips Songbird menu bar (at the top), click on the Tools pull-down menu and then select Repair My VIBE.
3: Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the repair procedure.
