Purchased magic chef counter top ice maker yesterday 9/2/08 and have owned one for four years prior to that. I can not get it to function properly. I followed the instructions to the letter when I set it up. I start it up with a full tank of water and it runs one cycle and shuts off and says it is low on water and the tank is above or right on the full line. I returned one yesterday with the same problem to Meijers. I cannot figure out what the problem is. I love Your product and do not want to have to return it, but if I can not get this one to work I will have to take it back too.

SOURCE: Ice maker leaks water into Ice bend. When it cycles I can watch it drip water from the ice maker.

not familuar with the brand but sounds like one of 2 issues
if it is overfilling making ice cubes larger than normal, adjust the ice maker fill time if it is possible
icemaker fills and cuts off but water valve seeps water after the fill causing the water overfill

As crazy as this sounds, turn the temp control a little warmer (counter clockwise). On this model, this control needs to switch to harvest the ice. A warmer setting should fix this issue.
