I put some lubrication oil into the air line then made sure that it goes in there by moving the anvil (1/2") back and forth then tapped the lower handle making sure the oil goes everywhere. it worked on mine.

How do i find out if my engine is seized or not?

Take a socket and ratchet or breaker bar and put it on the head of the bolt on the dampner (harmonic balancer) and see if it will turn. If it is extremely difficult to turn then it is most likely seized, if it turns then it isn't

Craftsman 875188020 air leaks out the side only when trigger is pressed.

All air ratchets have an exhaust. Air in must go somewhere and it will go out the exhaust. Some exit beside the air inlet & some have the air exit out the side of the handle. If the air is not coming out of a defined air orifice, then you may have a worn out gasket where the handle meets the head or you may have a cracked handle. The handle unscrews but you must hold the head in a vise while you use a wrench or adjustable wrench to grip the end of the handle to unscrew it for inspecting the internals.

My air condition wont blow air out the front dashboard vent but will blow out to the floor an defrost why is that what could be the problem

In other words, no matter how you set the vent selector it will not change where the flow of air is coming out? It is very likely that your blend do has lost either a vacuum line that moves it or a busted spring for returning it to its localized position. you will need a philip's head screw driver, a set of 1/4" sockets, and an accommodating ratchet for this job. (if you are doing the work yourself I will help you with the steps. Let me know and I'll post them up.

I have an old Chicago Pneumatic 3/8 air ratchet. It appears to be a CP 886 or CP 828? I hooked it up the first time and it started up without the handle being pushed down? Air comes out of the top and...

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly. I apologize for the much delayed response but I was helping another customer and your post appeared after I answered that post so I am going to respond now.

You will have to determine the part number of your Air drive.

The seals are dried out and cracked. Also the spring for the trigger is probably broken or the plunger is stuck down.

The CP828 parts can be found here:
http://www.ereplacementparts.com/chicago-pneumatic-cp828-t022708-3834-ratchet-parts-c-36298_36356_36369.html
The parts you probably need are items 3, 5, 7, 30 and 34. Possibly even item 109. That just repairs the trigger. You still need to repair the motor and head. See item 800 of the link for the repair kit. $33.75 Also note what item numbers above are in the kit.

The repair kits can be also located here:
http://www.pneumatictoolsonline.com/HTML%20pages/Tune%20Up%20Kits.htm Notice there are several versions of the CP air motors. I send this link because there are three types of ratchet heads and it lists both the CP828 and CP886 repair parts.

You should be able to breathe life back into this thing with just a repair kit.... and possibly a few other trigger parts.

Thanks for choosing FixYa,
Kelly

Ps3 will suddenly turn off while playing some games. I don't hear the fan spin up before it turns off and the system is rather warm to the touch

Its over heating, Mine did the same thing. If you have it in an enclosed enviroment take it out so it can breath, also use a vacume with a brush head and **** the dust out of the heat vents as well as the air inlets. (DONT USE CANNED AIR OR DUSTER!) this may appear to work but it is only temporary and will harm your system even worse as time goes on because all you are doing is clearing the dust from the vents by pushing it further into the unit

When you put a socket on my 3/8 air ratchet you can hold it and it doesnt turn the socket

Make sure your tank is pressurized before using, Also, ratchets have an air adjustment knob that you can adjust how much pressure and power the ratchet puts out. Make sure you oil ratchet before each use with air tool oil

What does front breathing mean?

"Front Breathing" usually means the refrigerator has a fan forced cooling system (condenser fan) that gets it cool air (and usually exhausts the warm air) via a front vent. The vent is usually located on the bottom or top.
