Machine is 18 months old. Recently moved to tile floor. Upon replacement problem started. The hose is clear. It sounds like it is draining but the drum is not spinning and when it does it only spins at slow speed. Mostly it just sits there until error codes start. F02 & SUDS.
Also tried the cleaning cycle and the machine never asked for the addition of the bleach.
The "F02" error code is a slow drain error. If you have confirmed your dry lines are clear, you may have a drain pump that is either clogged, or is not working properly. The following link explains:
It doesn't take much to damage the drain pump on these washers. If something is lodged in the pump for extended periods it could potentially damage the pump impeller or pump motor. The pump may SOUND like it is working, but it may not be pumping. If a good cleaning doesn't work, you may have to replace the drain pump. Replacements are available at searspartsdirect.com.
The "SUDS" error may be caused by a drain pump this is not working properly as well. If the pump gets air inside, it will begin to cavitate and can cause the "SUD" error to appear. Just to be sure, you can refer to this link as well:
If your washer is not draining properly, it will not spin, either. I think your spin problem may be directly associated to a drainage issue. Begin with a an inspection and cleaning (if required) of the drain pump. I suspect this may be the cause of all your symptoms.

Hello there and thank you for choosing fixya Depending upon the type of washing machine, you may notice an
"F21" or "F02" error code. An "F21" or "F02" error code is indicative of
a slow draining cycle, normally caused by a clogged or kinked drain
hose. If an "F21" or "F02" error code appears, check the drain hose on
the back of your washer to ensure that it is not clogged or bent. Once
the drain hose has been unblocked, the error code should disappear and
the machine drain properly. However, if you have a high efficiency
washing machine and the error code continues to appear, make sure you
are using the correct detergent; because high efficiency machines use
much less water than traditional washing machines, they require the use
of a low sudsing detergent. Traditional detergents may produce too many
suds, which can block the machine's drain hose and lead to slower
draining cycles. Please feel free to post me a comment back if you need help with the dissasembly of this ok? best regards Mike
Hello, W/D here. What you are seeing is the suds (SUD) error code, followed by a long drain fault code (F02). This does not necessarily indicate that you need to change anything at this time. When the machine senses too much suds, the error code is displayed, when too much suds are actually present, a longer drain time results. Duets are HE (high efficiency) machines, and require a detergent that produces little suds. If you are using HE detergent, cut back on it until you can run a cycle without getting the SUD/F02 alarms. If you are not using HE detergent (we don't either), you really have to be careful with the amount of detergent used. Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display. Run a cycle without any detergent to flush the machine. It is advisable to check that the drain hose isn't plugged or have a kink in it. Make sure that the pump is running. You may need to check the electrical connections at the pump. You might check the filter on the drain pump for debris or foreign objects, which might cause the drain cycle to be extended. If limiting the detergent, and nothing was found in checking the other items listed, then the pump may need to be replaced. Best regards, --W/D-- Please help us by rating our solutions. Thanks.
The f02 error code is caused when the unit control thinks there is still water in the tub after it has tried to drain. If the washer is full of soap suds it will also display an f02 error code. You will need to use only name brand HE detergent. If your washer is not draining the water out you will need to clean the pump filter. I have provided the instructions below. Run the washer in a drain and spin to ensure the pump is running. If the washer has no water and no suds the problem will be either the pressure switch or a plugged pressure hose. To check the pressure hose you will need to remove the top and remove the hose from the pressure switch. Ensure the hose is clear by blowing into it. If the hose is clear I recommend replacing the pressure switch.

Check the following:
Are water faucets completely turned on?
Are screens at inlet hose connection to washer clogged?
Are water inlet hoses kinked?
Are water inlet hoses frozen?
Plug in washer or reconnect power. Re-select cycle and press
START. If the problem remains, call for service.

"F02" is a Long Drain error (as you well know by now). The error code is generated when the drain time exceeds 8 minutes. If the pump motor or impeller is damaged and it is not pumping at the correct volume, the error code will continue until the pump is replaced.
I applaud your effrots. You isolated the source and did all the necessary steps required to clear this error code, but if you perform all these preliminary measures and still have problems, the rule of thumb is to replace the pump.
The "SUDS" error can occur in conjunction with the "F02" error. If the pump is not functioning properly and air is detected in the drainage system, you will get the SUDS error as well.
"F09" is an overflow condition error code which has many causes, inlcuding the drain pump. Everything seems to point to the drain pump in this one. Replace it and your problems may go away.
A replacement can be purchased at any of the following web sites:
Check the drain line for kinks or obstructions. The pump should also be checked. Remove the hoses from the pump and using a flashlight, look into the suction port on the pump. Make sure there are no obstructions (like the occasional stray sock). Also check the pump impellers and make sure no blades are missing/broken and that the pump impeller spins freely. If any blades are missing/broken or if you cannot get the impeller to spin freely, the pump is defective. Sorry for your trouble and I hope this helped. Best wishes.
I own a HE3 kenmore elite for 4 years now and the troubleshooting codes are: SUD When excessive suds are detected, a suds routine automatically starts. This causes the cycle to go longer to remove the excess suds. Reduce detergent amounts or use HE detergent.
The F02 error I had with mine and it is a drain problem. Book says check the hose for kinks, clogged or is it more than 96 inches above the floor. On mine it was the fan pump on the forward motor that drains the washer. It was worn and not pushing out the water fast enough. You will hear a high pitched whine at the front bottom of the washer if this is bad.
To reset the washer from the F02 error, select pause/cancel twice to cancel the cycle. Unplug washer or dissconnect power. good luck
