My Sharp DT-510 exploded the lamp after completed 70 %. So, I replaced for other lamp that I bought at Amazon (Sharp AN-XR10L2) and exploded again after 3 hours. I have cleaned the filters fans (2) and I noticed that all (4) ventilators are working well. Could you help me? ([email protected])

Have reset the lamp hours after installing the new lamp? If, not the projector has treated the new lamp as old lamp & refusing to light further. So, reset the lamp hours to zero. To reset the lamp timer do as follows. Plug the power cord into the AC socket of the projector. Switch ON the power of the socket. (not projector) While pressing simultaneously MENU/HELP, ENTER & DOWN (button near MENU/HELP) on the projector, press STANDBY/ON on the projector. "LAMP 000H" is displayed, indicating that the lamp timer is reset. If this does not correct your problem then the problem lies in other area. Let me know so that further I can provide you solution. Above things are preliminary.

I have a question. I replaced the bulb as was stated in the manual and did the reset above as you described. Everything worked fine, we watched a movie and it was perfect. The problem is that after the projector powers off, the red light comes back on and I have to do the same thing again. Any solutions to that problem? Thanks in advance.

There is no problem here, the sharp projectors just do this until you enter the reset procedure. It comes on a sheet with your lamp. they differ from projector to projector. often involves hold down power and some arrows while plugging in the projector - that will reset the lamp timer and you will be away!

Projector sharp dt100 not working!

It is possible the lamp has died even though you only got 800 hours. Rated Lamp life is always up to and never a surety of those actual hours in the brochure will be acahieved. If you would like a quote for a replacement lamp let me know as we ship internationally. Regards Kevin Andreassend http://www.iceav.co.nz +0064-9-4142348 [email protected]
