Sure it's locked to Network You need to Unlock it,..so that you can use the Phone in any Sim that support GSM Technology,you cannot unlock from CDMA Network Lock,You can get the Unlock code from here

1 - Switch on your Nokia E72 without any sim card.
2 - Don't bother as to what is displayed on your Nokia E72.
3 - Compose #pw+CODE+1#.
4 - The Nokia E72 would then display the message "SIM Restriction Off" and will be unlocked!

What if I put different sim to my sidekick slide except T-mobile? When I tried to put different sim my internet doesn't work?
As you said me that you will be using different sim but you can not use the internet because for example you will be using vodafone sim means you will be having that sim settings in your mobile if you use any other network sim means you need settings for network.So internet does not work in you are mobile for different network.If you use same network different sim means there you can use the internet.Thanks for your question happy to help.

the nokia 3110 is not a powerful device it will surely not recognise the sim because it contained the data which might be copied to the phone memory as well as the sim card so during the sim after being wet & dry was certainly not going to be recognized by the cell as its data was corrupted

You mean your mobile phone won't accept other sim cards? All brand new mobile phones you buy from a cellular service provider are locked. You can only use other sims with it if you can have it open line. But if you open line it before the warranty period ends, its warranty will be void. So, think about it.
