I have a Bosch Classix 6 1200 Express that stopped working 23 minutes before the end of the cycle. It has been noisier recently but this time it stopped altogether and when I tried to spin the clothes the fault F21 came up and I am unable to use the washer.

Time to get an engineer to fit a new heating element.

Error code 08 says it's a temperature sensor problem. If the temp sensor is bad, the water heater may not be getting the water up to a hot enough temperature to dissolve the soap block. Also, while you have the unit out for repair, make sure that the drain hose is clear of debris. I have seen a number of dishwashers lately that were replaced simply because they "weren't cleaning" or "draining slowly" where the only problem was a blocked drain hose.

have you cleared the filter

If it gets stuck on 1 minute for a long time, it is possibly the heating element which needs replacing. They can get covered in scale in hard water areas and stop working. Replacing the heating element in my Bosch Logixx solved the problem.

check for blockages in the outlet pipes, filter and pump.

Completely unplug the dishwasher and leave disconnected for at least 10 mins.
Also be sure to check the drain pipe is not kinked or obstructed and that the filter is also clean and empty

I would say that the brushes want replacing in the motor, access to the motor is by removing the rear panel, remove the belt, and undo screws securing motor, remove motor, brushes are located at rear end of motor.
