Sir, i have dell 1209s projector. when i turn it on, it works only for 5-10 min. with flickering image. after that two red lights comes on the buttons. plz help me

There is a dell 109S but no model like you listed. It does say it is compatible with windows 8.1 So it must be the settings or the function key on the laptop.
please must note, and never clean it by cleaning wipes or paper, it will leave marks on the lens. and nor to clean it by wipe or alcohol. it will easily break the protection film on the lens.
such the dust on the surface, you can blow it by blast. and others, you can clean it by a good chammy
Lamp is burned out or makes a popping sound. When the lamp reaches its end of life, it may burn out and may make a loud popping sound. If this occurs, the projector does not turn back on. LAMP light is blinking amber If the LAMP light and the Power light are blinking amber, the lamp driver has failed and the projector will automatically shut down. If the LAMP light is blinking amber and Power light is solid blue, the color wheel has failed and the projector will automatically shut down. Unplug the power cord after 3minutes then turn the display on again. If this problem persists, contact Dell™. TEMP light is solid amber The projector has overheated. Using the Display
When you start the computer with an external device (such as an external
monitor or projector) attached and turned on, the image may appear on either the
display or the external device.
Press <Fn><F8> to switch the video image to the integrated
display only, the integrated display and an external CRT monitor simultaneously,
an external CRT monitor only, the integrated display and an external DVI monitor
simultaneously, external DVI monitor only, and external CRT monitor and external
DVI monitor simultaneously.
This is the problem I had with a couple of my projectors, one of them I just replaced the bulb and the other needed whole new brains (controller board)
