Add Image to Folder Background in WinXP

In this tutorial , we will see how to add an image to the background of any folder.It looks like this





1) Create New Folder; right click on Desktop, then New folder... or just open a folder in which you wish to add the background image

2) Copy this code in notepad

[ExtShellFolderViews]{BE098140-A513-11D0-A3A4-00C04FD706EC}={BE098140-A513-11D0-A3A4-00C04FD706EC}[{BE098140-A513-11D0-A3A4-00C04FD706EC}]IconArea_Image=(image location eg: c:\background.jpg)

it will look like this.




3)Save the notepad file in folder for which you wish to add background imageas "desktop.ini"



4)After this select folder, right click on that folder, click propertiesand select Customize tab, then click onchange icon, here choose any icon, click apply and ok.
After this the background image will appear...

B) Select the picture folder and click on Select Folder.
4. Select a Desktop BackgroundA) Right click on an available picture, or click (check) on the box in the upper left corner of the picture, to select it. (See screenshot below step 7)
NOTE: You can continue to right click on the images to see it previewed on your desktop until you decide which one you like best.
5. Select the Picture PositionA) Click on the drop down arrow menu, and click on the picture position you want for the desktop background. (See bottom of screenshot below step 7)

How to change wallpaper in Windows 7 The Windows 7 Starter edition does not include the Personalization features such as the change desktop background option. 1. Download the Oceanis Change Background Windows 7 ZIP link: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/47294-desktop-background-change-windows-7-starter.html Open the ZIP file and extract the Oceanis_Change_Background_W7.exe file, then run it to install it. i want to change my desktop background.

click start control panel,display,desktop you can select a different desktop from the drop down list also settings you can change the settings for more or less pixels or from the drop down list pick the appropriate level of color range or troubleshoot also select advanced then general
dpi normal size,larger size or custom settings

How can i change the desktop wallpaper on a aspire one netbook ?

Open up any of your picture folder. Right-click on the picture thumbnail or picture icon that you want to make your desktop background and select "set as desktop background". I hope this will work for you.

Please follow the instructions below:

1. First create a new folder on your desktop.
2. Right click (Control click) to Attach Folder Action.
3. You'll get the Folder Actions Scripts.Go down to the Image-Rotate (left or right) and attach.
4. Then just drop the images in that folder. That is all.
