No. Models before the TC1100 used finepoint pens, while the TC1100 model started to use Wacom pens. Any wacom pen will work, but may not fit into the silo.
Your tablet pc uses the Wacom Digitizer so the pen does not use a battery. It is possible that it could be the pen or the screen. It works with electromagnetic resonance technology and the screen produces this signal that the pen grabs, converts, and returns to the screen without batteries. The pen does contain compenents that can fail but so does the screen. You could try buying a replacement pen for around $20 dollars and see if that works. Worst case you would be out $20. If you had another tablet PC that uses a Wacom screen you could try the pen with that one or test the other pen with yours.
you need the wacom touch screen driver, just go to wacom .com and all i did was download and installed the driver, i run win xp , not tablet version, and after the driver ws installed the table an pen worked 100%,
have u tried re-installing the driver...
if thats the case even if u tried different pens it wouldnt work... plus even if ur driver was fine a different pen wouldnt work for that driver...
after re-installation if the pen still doesnt work then theres a 50% chance ur pens not working...
One more thing does ur monitor support it???
