How to solve IE ERROR for all kinds of washing machine

Hello...

IE Error it means INLET ERROR.. Water is not coming or not filled in the particular given time by the program.. What u have to do is just close the inlet tap then remove the water hose from the machine.. Then u can see the inlet valve if u see inside of the valve u will find a small water filter take that filter slowly dont push the filter.. After removing u have to clean properly using old tooth brush after cleaning again fix everything and start the machine.

Thanks

lg top loader ie error message, fills ok, but water running out of bottom of machine

Hi IE means Inlet Error. The machine thinks that it is not filling (as a certain time has passed without reaching level it wants).
This makes sense if water is running out the bottom.
You will need to find the leak. Maybe the tub to pump hose, or the drain pump itself. Once you stop the leak and the machine can fill in the correct amount of time, you shouldnt see the IE error any longer.

hi my hotpoint ultima wmd960 of 2 half years, when i put a wash on it starts and fills up for about 3 mins later it comes up :no water, check supply, then starts ti drain water away ,then fills up again,so a change programe to to fast spin which it does.but the no water check water supply, still flases up i checked all hoses and water intake please help ..

Please check your inlet water hose for any clogging that may be stopping the proper flow. some machines are programmed to get filled in particular given interval of time. they need proper pressure to properly work. Remove the hose and clean the wire mesh filter.

An IE code comes on my washing machine and when this happens it does not go through the final rinse cycle

Error code of "IE" signifies a water inlet error.

This means that your machine is not filling to the proper water level, and may be fixed by ensuring that machine's water supply is properly connected and turned on. Also, this means that the washer has not filled with water in 8 minutes.

Hope helps.

Hi I have an LG LD - 14AW23 dishwasher. It shows an IE error (no water) but it fills, stops and then gives the error message. What's thye problem? Many thanks, John

Hi

Error code IE on LG dishwasher means Inlet error. This error comes up when the Water Supply Tap is closed or Water Supply is shut off. If water supply is turned on then make sure that the Inlet Hose is not kinked and water Pressure is not low (should be above 10 psi). Next thing to check for is Water Inlet Valve, measure the electric resistance of Inlet Valve. (950-1300 ohms) Make sure the filter of Inlet Valve is not clogged.

Hope this helps... Please post back for further assistance.

what does IE on the display mean?

IE means inlet error. Most likely the washer took too long to fill, due to a plugged screen where the hose attaches to the inlet water valve. Frozen water line would do it also. Or a bad water valve.
