Thanks for using FixYa. To make it multiregional please follow these step by step instructions using your remote control:

1. Switch power on
2. Open the DVD tray (leave it open with no DVD in it)
3. Press "stop"
4. Press "734466"
5. Use cursor to scroll up or down until it says "Region 0"
6. Press "OK/Enter"
7. Switch power off
8. Switch power on



It show now play all region DVD’s. Please do accept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

This works for my DCP-7020, so it may work on the 7040.

If your drum is still good - take it out and put it back in - the trick is to LEAVE THE FRONT DOOR OPEN after you put it back in. With the door still OPEN push the "options" button and you will be prompted for "New Drum?" and then push the "Up" button for 'Yes' and "Accepted" will appear on the lcd screen - and then the drum counter will be reset.

1. turn off the machine and open the front door, after that turn on again.
2. when the machin turn on, tape the number 10871087.
3. in maintenence mode tape the number 163 end "start" button.
4. go to execute end press the "start" again.
5. close the front door and press the "clear" button
6. tape the number 1 end then the "star" button
7. the machine is pixed
