put new ink cartridge in wont print epson sx110

hi

make sure you removed the protective plastic tab off the cartridge before installing it -- remove the cartridge from the printer , look at the top and make sure the tab has been removed, reseat the cartridge and try again. if there are other cartridges, remove them, -- shake the cartridges and reseat them.

if this failes , refer to your manual

If you need to change a cartridge before it or any other cartridges are low or expended, run the Ink Cartridge Replacement utility.

You cannot print or copy when an ink cartridge is expended even if the other cartridges are not expended. Replace any expended cartridges before printing or copying.

Leave your old cartridges in the Epson Stylus NX110 Series until you are ready to replace them to prevent the print head nozzles from drying out.
When an installed ink cartridge is more than six months old, you may need to replace it if your printouts do not look their best, even after cleaning and aligning the print head.
Follow the instructions in these sections to check and replace your ink cartridges:
Replace Cartridges Using a Printer Software Utility
For best printing results, use up a cartridge within six months of opening the package. If you need to replace a cartridge when the ink light is flashing or off (before the cartridge is expended), you can run the Ink Cartridge Replacement utility.

1. Windows: Right-click the printer icon in the bottom right corner of your screen (the taskbar) and select Printer Settings. Click the Maintenance tab.
Macintosh: Open the Applications folder, open EPSON Printer Utility3, select your printer (if necessary), and click OK.

You see one of these screen SEE ATTACHMENT BELOW

2. Click the Ink Cartridge Replacement utility icon and follow the on-screen instructions to replace your ink cartridges as necessary
