INTEL D845GRG ONBOARD SOUND FIX (USE THE INTEL DRIVER)

Hi i have recently fix the problems i had with my intel d845grg onboard
sound card,after downloading 10 drivers for the ad1981a soundchip
i found it wasent the driver.fix located your soundchip and just above
it you will see a bank of jumper plongs on the pcb put a jumper over the
the last two jumpers nearist the pci slots, reboot your pc and you now have
sound this has taken up a large amount of time to find this simple
fix

Unfortunately, you have Soundmax AD1981A AC97 sound. The only download I can find for you, which you may ahve already have tried, is here

You can give it a try if you haven't already. The Soundmax sound is no longer supported at all. You may want to consider a sound or graphics card if all else fails. Good luck.

I recently had my hard drive redone and need to reinstall a ge 98903 2.1 pro speaker system. I have no install disk and can find no driver or software info. to download on the net . Help without this i have no sound

do you have Onboard soundchip? or pci slot sound card?

if you have onboard soundchip..just try to install your motherboard cd installer,the sound driver is included in it. if you lost the cd,try to download it from its brand website.

if you have pci slot sound card. try to find from the card its name,brand and model and try to find and download the driver from the net.

The drivers for your Intel D845GRG motherboard may be found here.

If the PC came with an add-on video card, you need to determine the brand/model that we may be able to get the necessary driver(s).

Please be reminded that drivers are OS specific.
