If the owner's manual does not mention this as an option, the only other option would be to disable the piezo beeper. Here's a video showing you one way:

A person with electrical experience can splice in an added amount of cord, but I would not recommend any more cord than needed, since too long a cord can affect the current and possibly lead to overheating and damage.And I do NOT recommend permanently running a microwave off an extension cord. cut it in half take another cord and add to it that will be longer thats how i do it

There are different ways to lock the keys on different microwaves. I cannot find a manual for this unit, so the only other thing I can think for you to do is to unplug the microwave overnight (if you don't need it right away) and see if it will reset when you plug it back in. I'm so sorry I cannot find a better answer

I don't think there is a way to turn off the sound. I used to cringe at the noise it is so loud. Get someone who knows what they're doing to take off the cover and discharge the capacitors. (After some trouble I got the cover off and was just careful.) On the back side of the clock you'll see a circuit board. Near the top right (looking at it from the back of the microwave) you'll see a circular speaker about the size of a nickel hanging vertically from the circuit board. Here's what I did. I tore a piece of paper towel, folded it up, put tape on it, and lowered it down in front of the speaker. I then used a (insulated) screwdriver to help me secure the tape to the plastic and metal nearby. So the folded paper towel was taped so that it muffled the speaker. I did the same on the back side, with a piece of folded paper because there wasn't much room to wedge it in. Now the beep is much closer to regular levels. I suppose you could try damaging the speaker or breaking it off altogether. I didn't do that because I wasn't sure what would happen if I broke it completely, and was afraid that if it were just damaged the beep might create a hideous, airy screech.

Press "Clock", type in the time on the keypad and then press "Start". The clock runs a little slow (at least on mine) and I have to reset it about once a month. It gets about 10 - 15 minutes behind after awhile.
