Koto the dinosaur doesn't work
You have 45 days to file a dispute with eBay. After that, unless you
used a credit card, you're stuck with it. If you're within the 45 days,
go to the Resolution Center on eBay and file a dispute. If the seller
responds with a *tough luck* answer, immediately escalate to a claim and
indicate that the seller failed to disclose the corroded batteries and
damaged battery case. I'm not sure what you mean when you say your
little girl is gutted, but that's not really relevant. You will have to
bear the expense of sending it back - ship parcel post with delivery
confirmation. If you buy your postage online, it's cheaper. Good luck
:)

Furreal walk in' puppie won't walk
Sounds like either the batteries were not placed correctly or something got wet. Confirm the old batteries did not corrode leaving gunk on the ends of the connections. If they are clean, confirm you are putting them in the right positions. That's usually the issue. If not, you need to call Hasbro's Customer Service through this pagehttp://www.hasbro.com/customer-service/contacts/

REPUBLIC ATTACK SHUTTLE
If Hasbro can't help, I suggest you use a digital camera to take pictures of the stickers your other one has, get access to a good graphics printer and some label paper, and resize your images to scale then print them out. Otherwise, a custom label service will do the same thing and charge you a lot more for them. A good sticker paper. PlanetLabel http://www.planetlabel.com/labels/by_material/inkjet-laser/inkjet_matte_white_vinyl/white?gclid=CJaGnbaHsq0CFSJjTAod1gIgow carries a good, waterproof vinyl sticker paper for most printers.Hope that helps.

Taking the head off
You can't. Or should I say, you shouldn't try. I contacted Hasbro and spoke with "Grace". Grace knew that product in and out, I got the sense that Grace had been with Hasbro for a very long time. The bad news is that the heads were only ever intended to go on. They were never intended to come off, nor is there any simple way to get them off. Grace advised that taking the head off can and very likely will cause problems in the future because it snaps into place and taking it out means you would damage the mechanism that holds the head firmly meaning once that is compromised, the head will not work properly in the future. Assuming you need this info for shipping, FedEx charged me $180 compared to UPS's wishful $220 quote. However, I discovered that Greyhound ships anything under 100lbs and $300 value. You can get more info at their site. Good luck and happy holidays :)

Do the rules for playing
rules change year to year ,, if your in tournament play, but for the in home player here are the printed rules for the game
Acceptable words are the primary entries in some chosen dictionary, and all of their inflected forms. Words that are hyphenated, capitalized (such as proper nouns), or apostrophized are not allowed, unless they also appear as acceptable entries: "Jack" is a proper noun, but the word JACK is acceptable because it has other usages as a common noun (automotive, vexillological, etc.) and verb that are acceptable. Acronyms or abbreviations, other than those that have been regularized (such as AWOL, RADAR, LASER, and SCUBA), are not allowed. Variant spellings, slang or offensive terms, archaic or obsolete terms, and specialized jargon words are allowed if they meet all other criteria for acceptability. Foreign words are not allowed in the English language Scrabble unless they have been incorporated into the English language - for example, the words "patisserie" and "glace".
