It's not that the handsets have bad mics, the problem is in the base unit. That's what's sending audio into the phone line, and something has gone wrong there. Try unplugging the power from the base and give it a minute, then reconnect the power. This will allow the computer inside to reset and may straighten out the trouble. If it doesn't, you're probably best off replacing the system.

AT&T doesn't say anything on their site about service, just to call their Customer Support and Service Center at 1-800-222-3111 for more information. If your phone is out of warranty, it's probably easier and maybe less expensive to buy new.

Try reset that particular cordless phone, Turn off the phone, remove the AC adapter, press and hold the page/call button that is on the phone and plug back your Ac adapter, that should fix the problem.

The damage is not to the phone line it is to the phones. Unfortunately this is very common with powered phones as they are almost never kept on surge protectors and are very fragile. You will need to purchase a new base station to use with existing phones.

If it rings your cordless base station is bad and you will need a new one if it does not ring then there is a problem on your phone line and you need to contact your phone company. Note, the phone company will charge you for repairs inside your house.

The battery in the handset needs to be replaced, your battery is at the near end of it's useful life.

If its from Nokia try 12345 or 00000. If it comes from SIM card, see the card manual or contact your provider.

power off base, unplug it from wall power and wait for about 1 hour. this should reset it and clear that false alert of voice message. you may post back for a followup

Try moving the phones away from any of these devices and see if that helps. If you use DSL for your Internet service, make sure you have placed filters on all of the phone lines that don't go to the DSL modem.

try removing the batteries from all of the hand sets.wait 30-60 seconds. 1 by 1 replace the batteries and place them on the main base. this will re-register the phones 1,2,3 etc. as you plug them into the base, they will be numbered sequentially

If the handset is not responding normally, you may need to reset your telephone system. Complete the following steps to reset the telephone system:
Step 1: Disconnect the power to the telephone base.

Step 2: Disconnect the handset battery.

Step 3: Wait a few minutes and then reconnect the power to the telephone base.

Step 4: Reconnect the handset battery

Step 5: Wait about one minute for the handset to re-establish a link with the telephone base and then test the phone again.

I disconnected the battery, waited a few seconds, reconnected the battery and set it on the charger. Working great!

If the other phone works fine, then it's probably the base of your neighbor's phone that is the problem, that's why neither handset will work when placed on the base. If you can take the base apart, you can blow some compressed air into it to remove any dust buildup, and check to make sure all of the connections are secure.

If the phone still won't work, do the lights come on to let you know the handsets are charging when you place them on the base

Hi, this is a common problem with cordless handset showing "load default delta file", this is what i did to mine and it worked fine. I disconnected the battery, waited a few seconds, reconnected the battery and set it on the charger, the dial tone was back and the message disappeared. Working great!
