First row of letters on
Hi I have seen this problem many many times before in my shop, it is the Keyboard matrix,or connection, often the matrix goes open circuit, and this stops that row,or group, of keys for responding the way it should, eventually it will fail all together. sometimes the keyboard connector can become dislodged a little and may make poor or intermittent contact on certain "lines" and this to will cause this, symptom too, so this must be checked first.
The only fix is replacement of the entire keyboard, they are quite cheap and easy to replace, of course one must check first the connector where it mates to the main board, and see if this is firm and OK, if it is OK then it is not that, and then it will be the keyboard.
If you don't wish to DIY, then take it to a reputable repair center and ask for a "Quote"as to the costings and go from there, is my best professional advise.(Perhaps contact the manufacturer and ask for a referral to an authorised service center)
I am not familiar with this exact type of laptop, however IF they have a USB port, then as a work around an external USB keyboard may be able to be used?
