I would bypass the system. Google "grand am anti-theft bypass" I'm sure it would be similar to that. You can also try turning the ignition to on or run for 10 minutes and see if it goes out. But again for an old car like that, it is too expensive to fix and no offense but no one is going to steal a saturn.

Short, fuse, cut broken wire, computer failure, or component failure. I would cut the system out since it's an older vehicle.

Many things can cause this. If there is a check engine light have it scanned. It could be bad spark plugs or even a cat

To disarm your alarm so your 1999 Camry will crank, look under your dash and find the little black box, unplug it, you will not have an alarm, but you can crank your car. You do not have to spend $100 to fix this cheap after market alarm system that is a pain in the neck!!

Check the neutral safety switch. Also some GM have a starter relay in the fuse box. Also you could have a bad ign switch

The ignition switch is probably bad and not letting the fire get to the starter from the key. I say this because you are getting fire at the starter or you would not be able to short it across the solenoid. Hope this helps.

If you put the shifter in park and it still rolls, then the parking lever is not engaging. Could be due to the cable adjustment or an internal problem.

There are several things that will allow that to happen. Could be both injectors are bad (not very common). If the fuel regulator is leaking the gas can be draining into the intake ports of these cyls. The regulator in under the intake manifold and you will have to take off the throttle body to look at it. With the throttle body off, turn the key to the on position and see if it is leaking.

The valet switch is usually located around the drivers side. Each installation is different, as are most alarms. The valet switch could be part of the flashing LED or, it could be incorporated into the on glass antenna. If not, it should be located below the driver side dash. If you can see the alarm, locate the blue two pin plug and trace the wire to the push button valet. If the unit is manufactured by Directed (Viper, Python, Avital, Clifford, Valet, Automate, Hornet, etc.) turn ignition on then off, press and release valet within 10 seconds, LED will illuminate solid to show system is in valet. If the unit is manufactured by Audiovox (Prestige, Pursuit, Code (new)) turn ignition on, press and hold valet switch for approx. five seconds, release, LED will illuminated solid to show system is in valet.If you are attemting to manually override the system, turn ignition on, press and release valet switch to disarm.
