It's a problem with a factory immobilizer system of some kind. You should have said the year, make, and model of your truck. I had this same thing yrs. ago on an 98 GMC pickup.

It sounds like your security bypass isn't programmed or needs to be replaced. Try to reprogram it and then start the vehicle. Shut it down and try to start it a second time, if it doesn't start the second time the bypass needs to be replaced.

The Trailblazers can be tricky. First off you will need a digital data bus interface inorder to connect to the power locks etc. Try an Omega DB-GMDLBP module or equivalent. You also have to bypass the Passlock 2 system. If you are not a professional installer I highly recommend you letting a pro do this one for you. What type of vehicle is it installed in? Does it crank with the key and not start or does it not do anything? There could be several problems, ie. if a bypass was used to bypass a factory anti theft it could be malfunctioning, if your crimestopper has security features enabled that could prevent it from starting even with the key. (This is most likely if the driver was able to start it by pressing the valet switch). Or there could be a loose connection in the ignition harness. Either way, I would highly recommend taking back to where it was installed and heve them go over it.

Part of the security of a remote start system is that, unless the key is in and turned, it'll shut down if the brake is pressed (since the brake has to be pressed to put it in gear to drive). ok this happend to me once take the key and stick it into the ignition and turn it 8 times only turn it untill the lights go on DO NOT START THE ENGINE EACH TIME after this try it again

under the dash by the steering column you will see some wires that dont belong and a small black box about a inch square two wires will go up and into the steering column there will only be two that come from the box cut the wires that go to the box and connect them together its the starter disable . removing the blk box it should start
