It sound like you have a direct short in the compressor ,Usually it means you have a bad compressor,but sometimes it could be a loose wire or bad outdoor motor. Ive installed about 10 of these units and still have yet to have a bad compressor.It could also be a bad circuit board in the outdoor unit.I wish I could narrow it down better but thats my best guess!Thanks ---Nate

A thermister reads temperature by resistance (ohms). Higher the temperature gets the lower the resistance. It is two wires just pull them out and replace. It does not matter if you interchange them. Your unit reads the thermister to determine temperature.

if no cold blowing,evaporator is not working,have you ever heard compressor is running,check this out,no compression of course you dont have cool on evaporator.if the compressor is running check the oprating current,if still have enough freon charge,if not running check thermostat reset setting on the coldest,ifn still not run check overload relay on panel control reset lever to put back compressor to run,check condensing fan if working,if not check also over load protection,this should be done by ac tech nician.have a nice day,dont gorget to rate me, thank's

I have run into this with the LG brand systems. try shutting power off to the outdoor unit to reset all units. If problem persists, it could have to do with a charge level of refrigerant (freon) or possibly a failed control board. A high pitched noise from the fan unit, means a bearing issue from the motor. You must replace the fan motor to get rid of the noise.

chances are either the unit is not level or the drain hose is not pitched properly going through the wall when water is leaking is there water coming out of the hose outside

This could be condensation coming from the coil or expansion valve closing because heat load has been reduced after half an hour causing the liquid refrigerant going through the coil to make a bit of a noise check gas charge to be correct this also is a common cause
