I have the 8 button phone and if you hook up your headset the right way you just have to press the line/feature access key all the way to the right instead of picking up the receiver. Keep the headset on all the time and just press that button to answer or hang up the calls. It works great! ( I have the Dterm80 telephone)

depends on the system but it should be done in the voicemail. If the names are recorded in than you have to find the mailbox used. If it says please enter the first 3 letters of the persons last name than it is a default mailbox and the names are set in each subscribers mailbox. They have to go into personal options and change the name and letters.

NEC Electra Elite IPK

• 1 Press the "Feature" key on the phone system's main terminal. This is one of the Dedicated Feature keys and is located at the bottom left hand corner of the keypad.
  
• 2 Dial 9# to enter the clock setting menu.
  
• 3 Enter the hours and minutes using the key pad. For example, if it is 12:15, you would press "1," "2," "1," and "5."
  
• 4 Press the "Recall" key on the bottom left hand side of the phone key pad to toggle between AM and PM.

• 1 Press the "Speaker" key located at the bottom left of the phone key pad.
  
• 2 Dial "728" to enter the phone's clock menu.
  
• 3 Dial the hour using two digits. Use military time for any time in the afternoon. For example, 1:00 AM would be "01," but 1:00 PM would be "13."
  
• 4 Type the minutes using two digits ranging from "00" to "59."
  
• 5 Press the "Speaker" button to set the time

1. have the first call on the line (do NOT put on hold), (call 1 or 2)
2. press CONF key
3. dial 9 for an outside line and dial the number
4. press CONF **twice** to join calls.

You need to get to the phone on either port 1 or port 2. Go to VM and the "MGR" option will be on one of the soft keys. From there, you delete the mailbox. You will lose any messages that are on there, but you can reset the password.
