You will need to enable it in programming. Access programming by dialing Feature **266344, then using 266344 for your password. Your password may be different. Contact your phone company for more details. Scroll to "General Admin". Scroll to "Permissions". Enter set number. The first option is "Full handsfree:N" Press CHANGE to set it to "Y". Scroll to HF Answerback and adjust it to "Y" to complete the process. Press Rls to exit programming.

It could be that whoever is paging is not paging all the zones. To page all zones, dial Feature 610

Reset voicemail box and when the set up the voicemail on there phone and record there greeting make sure they record there name as well then it will play the extensions recorded name

I guess you want a page key programmed on your set. press feature *3, press a memory key, press feature 610. This key pages all sets when pressed.

Just think about it, why would you want to auto dial yourself? You don't need an autodial key for yourself so the system don't allow you to program it.

There is a triangular button on the phone, there might be a light on it. That is the "shift" button for the "Speed dial buttons". They have 2 "positions on each, normal and "Shifted"

You need administrative rights to get into the PBX. Once in there, you can assign which phones receive incoming calls. It has been years since I worked on the meridian system, so I can't tell you the way to do it, but it is in the manual. It's not complicated. You can also set it up for DAY/NIGHT mode so that in the evening, if required, all phones could ring on incoming calls so that anyone in the building can answer them.

Set "prime line" to "intercom" in config.

what a load of you know what. contact your service provider, it more than likely has something to do with the type of plan you are on!

Press handsfree/mute key.

Sounds like bad wiring or connections.

You have what they call a caller id trunk card in your system this could have failed you could try powering down the system to see if that dosen't help wait 2 or 3 min. the power it up.

push feature key then star zero don't lift handset this is called botton enquiry. this allows u to push any key and the systyem will identify whats on that key and not disrupt phones.

Have you tried (F)**ADMIN ? What specifically are you trying to do? (F)**CONFIG usually gives access to everything including the lower levels like Admin, Time, etc.

Is this a recording, or does the phone display this ?

If this is a recording, it is from the long distance provider. Did you change long distance companies lately?

Call your long distance company....this is their fault.

rls is release , is the hangup button (hook switch) working (under the handset)

DND ,do not disturb, feature 85, or feature *80 to turn it down
