I don't think the door film is part of the shielding - mostly the shielding is a sheet of perforated metal sandwiched in the door and covering the glass window. I think the glass film is just there to make it seem dark and mysterious until there is something going on inside. Try shining a flashlight through the door and see if there is in fact a perforated sheet... Microwave energy leakage meters are commercially available though they are less used these days as users have increased confidence. When a new microwave is obtained it is a good idea to accurately time the boiling of a measured quantity of water as a performance benchmark and then repeat the experiment at intervals - any significant extension of the time taken signals it is time for maintenance because the lost energy could be due to leakage...

Hello Two options to try: 1) Press the Clock / Timer button 3 times 2) Unplug, wait a minute, then re-plug to power up with the factory settings. You will need to reset your clock and any favourite settings. This should work with all Panasonic Microwave models. Good luck

No one can tell you without looking at it. You need to ask yourself how old is, what did you pay for item what does a new similar model cost, You can look at other brands = Ask yourself what do you cook in it, do you need all the features s and the size, Personally i would replace it.

Need more info like the model number which is printed on the back. It should also show the wattage on the same sticker. If you can't find these and it was only a home microwave it was most likely only a 700 or 600 watt.

Well....the first thing you need to check is see if you have power going to your RY9 relay. If you do, there is a good chance the relay is bad (if you haven't already) If you don't have power going to that relay, you have to trace where the power is being lost. Fuses is usually a go to. According to the schematic there is an inductor in line with the netural line, check that. As well as an inductor with the lead, and several fuses.

Ask your self how old is the unit how much did you pay what does a mew unit cost. The price has fallen sharply but may be 25% higher with tariff.You may money invested in an old unit.
