Disconnect the phone to reset it. Then, reconnect it, and start all over. Press exit button to return to the phone setting menu. Press Menu button,. Use 5 or 6 to scroll to Answering Sys. Press Sel/Save button. And so on.... (This is in your manual, If you have it) If in case you don't have. I found one at http://www.101phones.com/details/0-1140/25202RE3.html look on the lower right side and there is a pdf file for down load.

There is a misprint in the instructions.

In the section titled "Out-Going Announcement RECORD" on last step it says Press Exit to stop recording. It should have said Press Sel/Save.

Do this and it will work.

Repeat for Line 2 if you are doing both lines.

Next thing is to make sure you go right to the section titled "Configure Out-Going Announcement" and select the right type of message you want callers to hear for each line.

Worked like a charm and took 3 seconds to get 2 different personal messages on the machine.

If the whole procedure isn´t working for the first time, unplug the phone, remove the batteries, and reinstall after 15 minutes.

Sorry to say but your question is incomplete. I could have simply answered yes to you but i want to help you out with this prob. It would have been better if you would have told your service provider wether it is land line or wi-fi. Any ways yes it can be done just ask your customer care they will give you a code through which you can forward your calls to any number and a code to deactivate that service. Depending upon the service provider they charge. This service is not for free service providers take some amount for this service. kindly vote me

I bought this phone from a second hand store and I bought it for the hold, and intercom feature. I plugged it in and every thing is working fine. one thing that i noticed when you call the phone it picks up and you hear nothing, what can I do will I be able to be use it as a home phone. I was looking for a instruction manual can you help me out with that. Any help would be thankful for.

Try re-locating away from another electronic device if there is one in close proximity. If not, please try replacing the wall jack cord and the coiled handset sord.

I think that just means that you do not have a 2-line connection to the phone. Either your cord is a 1-line cord or your 2-line cord is plugged into the wrong jack on the back of the phone,

No ringer could well be a setting and light on 2nd line means their is No 2nd line and most 2 to 4 lines phones at least require 2 active lines for the system to work correctly

If you want to use the conference feature built into the phone, you need to have two telephone lines. You can't conference (3-way) with a single line.

If you have a single phone line with 3-way calling service provided by your telephone service provider, follow their instructions. Normally the procedure is to call party 1, press the "flash" key on the phone to get a second dial tone, call party 2, then flash again to conference. But you need to have the service.

install a new battery

pick up the headset, dial *72 wait for the fast beeps to end, then dial your cell number. After the cell number rings, pick it up, hang up and your calls are forwarded. (You need to have the call forwarding feature from your land line provider). Dial *73 to release. I do this all the time with my system and it works fine...

I assume you mean you want to add your voicemail's phone number to your phone for a quick dial.

1. Menu

2. use the Review arrow keys and go to VM Code; press Select/Save

3. for Line 1 voicemail, press Select/Save then enter the voicemail's phone number. (Note there is a Pause/Redial button on the left of the keypad if you need to add pauses.)

4. Press Select/Save

5. Exit to get out of the menu.

how can i remotely forward my phne to another number

Remove batteries and unplug power source.  Wait a few second before replacing batteries and power source.  This forces the phone to "forget" why it froze, but retains your programmed numbers.
