Sorry I've been out of town and I'm just catching up. I looked at the info I sent to you and eventhough it is under the heading of Compact I think it is for a Prostar. The info is under the DCS heading and is called " DCS Technical Manual August 1995" Pages 186, 187, 197 and 200. I have not given up and I'm looking through my other reference materials but you are right, there are a lot of user and programming guides but no installation guides. Hi I have posted a video off http://www.abbeytelecom.com showing how to do the soft key programming, a tip is when programming the transfer to voicemail - it shows as VT *** ( voicemail group number).

Unfortunately the passwords can not be seen and the only solution is to delete the mailbox and re-install it. Your Admin Assistant should be able to add and delete mailboxes. Sorry, Let me know if you need help with deleting and adding the mailbox. .....Mitelmike

Follow these steps and this should fix the problem.

Without picking up the handset .
press the transfer btn
dial 115
dial 00
press transfer.

firstly do you have inbound CLI coming into the building?, if not you simply need to ask your line provider to switch this feature on. If it is already on but not showing at this handset ; with the handset down ;
dial transfer
200
1234
1 to enable then the speaker (blue) key
then press 312
type in your extension number and use the 3rd button under the screen and the volume key to set to allow yes.

Hi, you need to ask your line provider if this is being sent to you, if it is and it is just a case of not being able to read the information at that handset on screen then you need to press;
Transfer 200
passcode 1234
1 to enable
Speaker key

Then go to 323. type in the extension numbers you want to show this info and press RECIEVE CLI:YES .

If your line provider is not sending this then you can ask them to start sending CLi, it is chargable but not too much.

TRANSFER 119 use your volume key until it reads 'CLI NAME FIRST'

Hi to program your soft keys either follow the instruction or click on the link that I have posted, the video shows the newer handsets but these are very similar to your 12 button handset, ther are 60+ training clips at http://abbeytelecom.com

Press the transfer button followed by 200

Enter 1234

Press 1 to 'ENABLE'

Press the speaker key

Now press 722 followed by the extension number of the handset.

Type in the number of the button you wish to change.

If it is button 3 then type 03, if it is button 11 type 11 etc.

Once you have done this the cursor will move to the right hand side of the screen.

Next press the letter D on the keypad followed by plus on the volume until it says DS.

When it says DS press the 3rd grey key beneath the screen followed by the extension number. EG DS255.

Once you have done this press the 3rd grey key beneath the screen to save.

HI, i got the scoop on how to change the date and time. first while handset is on hook press TRSF then dial 200 Dial 1234 the display shows enable cus prog dial 1 to enable then press TRSF To change the date and time from here out press TRSF and dial 505 the display will show : (this is an example)
old: 6010104:0047

new:WMMDDYY:HHMM
Enter the new time and date using the above format and the system will return to step 2. Verify the time and date and re enter if necessary Press TRSF to store and exit. or press SPK to store and advance to the next program.

Enter 705 - Speed dial 12th Button down to toggle between
